Content Usage

The Content Usage report provides the raw content usage information for each content asset accessed within the selected schools and date range filter options, including details about the content asset, the user who accessed the content, and the class associated with the content asset (where applicable). This report is intended to be exported by data-savvy administrators who want to perform additional analysis on their district’s usage patterns.

Run Your Report

Select the Reports tab, and then choose the Content Usage report.
Do one of the following:
Click Filters to focus your data results.
- Starting at the top, select the Dates filter options.
- Click the Program Families open text filter field When you click in an open text filter field, it displays up to 100 selectable values based on your previous filter choices. You can also enter keywords or part of a name to immediately enable a search of a specific selection. and select one or more program families.
- Click the Programs open text filter field and select one or more programs.
- Click the Schools open text filter field and select one or more schools.
- Click the Classes open text filter field and select one or more classes.
- Use the Role filter to define specific types of users.
- Click Content Types open text filter field and select one or more content types.

Click the (Filter) icon to use a previously saved set of filters for this report.
1. Select Load Filter.
2. Select the filter from the list, and then click Load.
Click Run to generate the report. Click Stop to cancel your request.
Optionally, to save new filter selections for future use:
1. Click the (Filter) icon, and select Save Filter.
2. Type a unique Filter Name, click Save, and then click Close.
  
  Filter names are case-sensitive.

Report Data Elements

Click any report column header to sort the report content by the data in that column.

Elements	Data Descriptions
Login Date	Date and time of the student or teacher user's last login.
Role	User's primary role at the school.
Login name	User name of the teacher or student.
First name	First name of the student or teacher user.
Last name	Last name of the student or teacher user.
Email	Email address of the student or teacher user.
School	Name of the school.
Class	Name of the class, when the content asset is associated with a class assignment.
Teacher First Name	First name of the teacher of the class, when the content asset is associated with a class assignment.
Teacher Last Name	Last name of the teacher of the class, when the content asset is associated with a class assignment.
Program Family	Name of the program family, when available.
Program	Name of the program, when available.
Content Name	Name of the content asset.
Type	Type of content asset.
Content Open	Date and time the content asset was last opened by the student or teacher user.
Content Submit	Date and time the content asset was submitted, when applicable.
Content Close	Date and time the content asset was last closed by the student or teacher.
Percent Score	Score given the submitted content asset, when applicable.
